David Hammingh Named Transit Bus Regional Sales Manager

Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada – June 20, 2017: (TSX: NFI) (TSX: NFI.DB.U) New Flyer Industries Inc. (“New Flyer” or the “Company”), the largest transit bus and motor coach manufacturer and parts distributor in North America, has named David “DJ” Hammingh as Transit Bus Regional Sales Manager for Midwest U.S., effective immediately.

Hammingh will be based in Rockford, Michigan, reporting to Joe Gibson, Vice President of National Sales. He is responsible for new transit bus sales in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and Missouri.

“I am pleased to welcome DJ to the New Flyer sales team, and look forward to him contributing growth to our business as well as improving representation in the Midwest U.S. market,” stated Joe Gibson.

DJ has extensive sales experience with component suppliers in original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and aftermarket, including Stemco and Hadley. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Business/Accounting Concentration) from Hope College in Holland, Michigan.
