NFI Group Celebrates its 25th Year of United Way Giving With a Campaign Record

Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada – November 14, 2018: (TSX: NFI) NFI Group Inc. (“NFI”), the largest transit bus and motor coach manufacturer in North America, today announced that the company and employees have set a record for its United Way Workplace Campaign having raised almost $425,000.

Workplace campaign efforts of NFI Group and its subsidiaries (New Flyer, Motor Coach Industries, NFI Parts, ARBOC, and Carfair Composites) exceeded last year’s record of nearly $375,000. NFI has increased both giving and individual engagement reaching nearly 70% employee participation for the 2019 campaign.

“It’s amazing what can be accomplished when we work as a team to help those in need in our own local communities,” said Paul Soubry, President and Chief Executive Officer, NFI Group. “It is a real testament to the heart and soul of NFI. Today, we celebrate a quarter century of giving where our people work and live – not because we have, to but because we want to.”
