NEW FLYER ANNOUNCES ELECTION OF DIRECTORS

Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada – May 12, 2017: (TSX: NFI) (TSX: NFI.DB.U) New Flyer Industries Inc. (the “Company”), the largest transit bus and motor coach manufacturer and parts distributor in North America, announced that the nine nominees listed in the management information circular dated March 24, 2017, were elected as directors of the Company.  The detailed results of the vote for the election of directors held at its annual meeting of shareholders yesterday are set out below.
