BC Transit reduces carbon footprint in Nanaimo, Whistler and Kamloops with another CNG bus order from New Flyer

Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada – March 16, 2018: (TSX: NFI) New Flyer Industries Canada ULC (“New Flyer”), the Canadian subsidiary of New Flyer Industries Inc. (“NFI Group”), the largest transit bus and motor coach manufacturer and parts distributor in North America, today announced that BC Transit Corporation (“BC Transit”) has awarded New Flyer a contract for eight Xcelsior® compressed natural gas (“CNG”) forty-foot, heavy-duty transit buses (8 equivalent units), which will be converted from New Flyer’s option backlog to the firm order backlog.
