New Flyer Congratulates Allison Transmission on its 500,000th 4000 Series™ Transmission

  

St. Cloud, Minnesota, USA – November 30, 2017: (TSX: NFI) New Flyer of America Inc. (“New Flyer”), the U.S. subsidiary of New Flyer Industries Inc. (“NFI Group”), the largest transit bus and motor coach manufacturer and parts distributor in North America, today congratulated Allison Transmission (“Allison”) on the manufacture and delivery of its 500,000th 4000 Series™ transmission.

The event was celebrated at New Flyer’s manufacturing facility in St. Cloud, Minnesota, where the 500,000th transmission was delivered by Allison for installation in an Xcelsior® clean diesel, sixty-foot heavy-duty transit bus destined for the Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District (“AC Transit”) in California.
