Transit Windsor of Ontario, Canada, unveils its first fleet of New Flyer hybrid buses on June 22, 2009.



New Flyer presents BC Transit with the first fuel cell bus which they unveiled as their 1000th bus in the BC Transit fleet.


SEPTA celebrates the progress of their efforts to "Go Green" and New Flyer buses are a significant component in its success.







On October 19, 2009, the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) hosted a media event that included SEPTA officials, U.S. Federal officials and Joel Abraman, New Flyer’s Eastern Sales Director. 

The event was a celebration of the progress SEPTA has made in its efforts to “Go Green,” and New Flyer buses are a significant component in its success. 
SEPTA currently has 252 New Flyer diesel-electric hybrids and by 2010, one-quarter of SEPTA’s fleet will be New Flyer hybrids.  SEPTA is the 10th largest transit system in North America and has one of the largest hybrid fleets.
