San Diego Chooses New Flyer for Upcoming Build

Winnipeg, Manitoba – San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) will purchase 47 New Flyer compressed natural gas (CNG), 40-foot, low-floor buses. Delivery will be completed by May, 2005.

Quick delivery was a key component of the award. New Flyer was able to meet the challenge by providing pre-configured buses that match our operating criteria."

Upon completion of this order, New Flyer buses will account for 191 buses, or 77% of San Diego MTS’s heavy-duty fleet.
