Production Supervisor - Production Department

Reporting to the General Supervisor, this position is accountable for supervising and coordinating activities for daily production operations and ensuring schedules are met through effective leadership and manpower planning. This leadership role requires the ability to encourage a team atmosphere, maintain a safe working environment, and ensure quality standards are met. This position demands effective communication within the team / department, to promote and maintain positive employee relations.

As the successful candidate you have a minimum of 3 years of supervisory/leadership experience in a unionized manufacturing environment. You have proven problem-solving abilities and can implement solutions in a fast paced work environment. You have strong communication skills with the ability to maintain a strong team focus to ensure a productive, safe environment is promoted and maintained. You must be able to plan/organize workloads to meet deadlines. A working knowledge of MS Office is required. Oracle experience an asset.
