Position Summary:
Our engineering group is currently accepting applications for multiple designers
and draftspersons in our corporate head office. The positions will be
responsible for completing engineering design tasks and or integration projects
from concept to implementation into production. This will include all related
design activities, calculations, communications, drawings and bills of material.Skills & Qualifications:
These positions require individuals who are graduates from a recognized
mechanical or electrical engineering program or certified engineering
technologist program, and who have a minimum of two years of hands-on design
experience, preferably within a Bus, or Heavy Duty Truck manufacturing setting.
The successful candidates will have strong communication and organizational
skills to work effectively with customers and various levels within the
organization. These people will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, with
the ability to prioritize and multiple tasks ensuring timelines are met and
organizational objectives are achieved. Manufacturing experience is a definite
asset. Experience with MS Office and CAD is required. Unigraphics, VMM Ladder
Programming, VB, SQL and Phyton experience are considered assets.
