Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Internal Audit this position will work on a wide variety of audits and special projects. This position will provide independent, objective assessments on risk management, control and governance-related reporting processes including assessing the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting.
Skills & Qualifications:
We are looking for an individual with a post-secondary degree or equivalent related training/experience and a minimum of 3 years audit experience. Strong knowledge of financial reporting and operational risks and controls required. The successful individual will have strong analytical skills to plan and execute audits with the ability to provide practical recommendations to management. Strong inter-personal and communication skills are essential. Professional designation (e.g. CA, CMA, CGA, CIA, CISA) considered an asset.
