Position Summary:
This key leadership role is responsible for all aspects of the US tax function, including preparation of tax provision working papers, tracking and responding to inquiries and notices, as well as audits and reconciliations. In addition this position will assist in tax planning and research as well as implementing and monitoring tax planning that is currently in place.
Skills & Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a CA, CPA, CGA or other accounting designation along with post secondary education specializing in tax. The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of US Corporate tax experience, public accounting experience preferred. The position requires strong communication, analytical skills, and be a well-organized individual. Working knowledge of MS Office and US tax compliance software is required. Oracle ERP application would be considered an asset. Some travel required.
