The opportunity to add the New Flyer DE40LF buses into the BC Transit fleet is exciting for us. We are always looking for opportunities to "green" our fleet and to reduce our operating costs. We believe these vehicles will do both and have a significant role for us as we look forward to the 2010 Olympics and beyond. With the addition of our 6 new DE40LF vehicles into Kelowna and Victoria, BC Transit is excited to be the first transit operation in Canada to purchase new vehicles with the hybrid technology.
