Manufacturing Cost Estimator - Parts Organization

As a member of the Materials Department the Manufacturing Cost Estimator is responsible for estimating costs for assembled-in-house parts and outside-manufactured goods. This position is required to effectively cost assess whether to make or buy items, create bills of materials, assign labor time, create routings for in house fabricated partsand assess the validity of quoted product from suppliers.

As the ideal candidate, you have post secondary education, preferably a Manufacturing Engineering Technologist designation, with a minimum of 5 years of experience working with engineering drawings, bills of materials, routings and machine shop related activities. You are self-motivated, energetic and customer service driven. You are highly organized and detail oriented. You are able to manage multiple demands, work effectively under pressure and respond rapidly to change. Oracle experience is an asset.
