Product Specialist – Kinetik - Parts Organization

Reporting to the Marketing & Product Development Manager, the Product Specialist is responsible for the development of our alternate brand of parts, New Flyer Kinetik. Responsibilities include overseeing the development of the product in line with management’s long-term business strategy while working closely with different departments within the Parts Organization and New Flyer as a whole. As the product expert within the organization this position will consult with various departments and respond to questions regarding our products. This position coordinates and controls all facets of the product line including defining product opportunities to launch and managing the full cycle of the product.

As the successful candidate, you have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience, preferably in the heavy-duty automotive, bus transit or truck industry. You are well-organized and detail oriented with strong analytical and great communication skills. Microsoft Office experience is required with an emphasis on Excel and Access. Oracle experience is an asset. Occasional travel is required for this position.
