General Supervisor - Warehouse

As a member of our Warehouse team, this position is accountable for providing management and leadership for all main plant and Building-2 warehouses. Responsibilities include encouraging a team atmosphere, maintaining a safe working environment, and ensuring quality standards are met. This position will also ensure effective communication within the team / department, and promote and maintain positive employee relations. Other duties include ensuring inventory accuracy, on-time material delivery, picking/shipping/receiving status with weekly reports, material availability, put away status, cycle counts and warehouse dispatching overall.  is required. Proven ability to problem-solve and implement solutions in a fast paced work environment is essential. Strong communication skills, with the ability to plan/organize workloads to meet deadlines are also essential.

As the successful candidate, you have a minimum of 5 years of supervisory/leadership experience in a unionized manufacturing environment. Post secondary education in logistics, APICS, Inventory Management, or Industrial Supervision
