Product Specialist - Brakes - Parts Organization

Reporting to the Marketing & Product Development Manager, this position is responsible to develop our brakes product line. This role involves providing technical knowledge of air brakes system and axle components to the Customer Services Organization and to our customer base. Responsibilities include overseeing the development of the product in line with management’s long-term business strategy; working closely with different departments within the Parts Organization and New Flyer as a whole; and coordinating and controling all facets of the product line. This position will play a key role in the ongoing new product development strategy within New Flyer Parts.

As the successful candidate, you have a minimum of five to 10 years of experience with brake and axle components, preferably in the heavy-duty automotive, bus transit or truck industry. You are well-organized, detail oriented and possess strong analytical and communication skills. Microsoft Office experience is required with an emphasis on Excel. Oracle experience is an asset. Travel is required for this position.
