Reporting to the Traffic & Customs Manager, this term role will be responsible for overseeing all traffic activities for the Parts Organization; ensuring the efficient and timely flow of shipments between suppliers, warehouses and customers. In this role you will act as the central communication point between carriers, purchasing, warehousing and customer service staff in addition to having direct responsibility for validating and preparing all carrier freight invoices and managing freight claims. You will have basic knowledge of Customs, NAFTA and cross-border regulations.
Skills & Qualifications:
As the successful candidate you will have or be completing your CITT or similar supply chain training. You will be organized, analytical and accurate and have knowledge of the inbound and outbound freight process for both North America and Offshore, and ability to negotiate with carriers on establishing agreements will be essential to your success within the role.
